Hi,u

I have a Skoda Fabia MK1 Estate 2001 1.4 MPI and would love to learn more about the car in order to properly maintain it.

Currently nothing is seriously wrong with the car but I'd thought that learning a few preventative maintenance tips would not got a miss.

I'm looking to do a rocker cover gasket change oil has leaked out a little. Any input on the subject would be great.

A few niggles about the car, central locking on front passenger side does not work and its sticks on all doors most of the time. If anyone has any ideas comments let me know.

Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter o

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

Wifes car, 1.9 BXE auto, now has orange steering wheel symbol lit up. I wonder if it's low on fluid (don't laugh) then quickly discover it's not going to be that. Hey! I didn't know. I try the old lock to lock trick, it doesn't work. I check the fuse with a multi meter, seems fine.
