Got a really bad top end knock!!!

 

2 pickups and 2 oil changes since iv had it and looks like shes let go  :( sludge got to it 

 

Full camshafts & Buckets or a 2nd hand head? or another octy and break this for parts?

 

 

Plenty of VRS's been broken in for sale section in here, complete engines are going cheap now aswell

Could try Luca (oet on the forum) see if he's got anything dont want another breaker dude:(

No money in breaking it, there are just to many being broken at the moment leading to a glut in parts. See if you can get the engine from one of the many being broken on here alone.

Been offered a 67Thou engine for £350 comes with everything bar the turbo.

 

Im considering hybrid CN would you recommend the K280 or K300 from BBT - Trying not to change rods but if i HAVE to i will..

 

Is there a parts list for the Hybrid swap?

So find an AGU.. Low/Med mileage? so 60k up to what sort of mileage? Does it matter to much?

 

Surely the IE rods with rifling on the 19mm wrists in the AUQ is enough? Its just this engine is like 15miles from me!

Forgot to mention engine near me as had new cambelt and waterpump on.

What have you decided on? I would hate to pull up in kirkland next you knowing you had 300bhp sat there, though you may find yourself wheel spinning all the way past the brewery! Once I've sold my range rover I'm going stage 1 map and cai I think, might try out the guys at vr tuning.
