Hi. This might sound like a daft question.

I need a new rear brake caliper for my 2006 octavia vrs 2.0 TFSI. The calipers that are on the car are green with a solid disc.

If I order a caliper from TPS or euro car parts will it come green?

I've been on euro car parts website and there are a couple of choices. Pagid or TRW with different piston diameters.

Any idea what size piston will be in mine?

Might need to strip it down and measure it.

If you order the correct caliper from TPS you should get a green one, unless they have been discontinued.

Thanks John. I hoped so. Didn't want to go down the road of having to match a paint colour and paint it.

Obviously green was superceded by red on the Mk2 in 2007, hopefully you should still be able to get a green one.

MY 2006 came with red too, so double check when ordering.

Interesting - I've definitely seen early 07 cars with green calipers.

Nope, mines are all red and it's a 2007 plate. I will painting them to something else, but not sure which colour. Was thinking Gold/Yellow, and suggestions? Stock wheels will be resprayed in Gloss black with yellow Lamin-x foglights.

Anyway, mines march 2007 and has red calipers too but I've definitely seen 07 cars with green. I'm just saying the changeover was about then.
