I have retrofitted illumiated sun visors from a golf gti to my RS. Just got the power from the light in the roof!

Where's the light?

Is it in the sun visor or on the roof lining?

I solved the problem:

I purchased some matte black vinyl film and covered the warning stickers.

No vRS logo though...

Need to see this in the flesh

I did this today - matt black vinyl, cut to size. Covered the warning stickers and can hardly see the vinyl. Only problem is, in the heat today they have both pealed and bubbled. Not sure if it will re stick or not :(

I've had no problems with the stickers. These were a premium quality though.

do you have a closer image of the roof rail fixings? im curious as i need to remove mine. and how easy was it to take the headliner out?

So ! Safety warnings are obtrusive , some people think that, some people don't.Some people are not bothered.  Is it in the interests of safety to remove them ? Most cars have them and you understand the warning so you don't need it but other people might need to know.  We can be assured that more concerning issues will eventually come our way.
