New Skoda Badges fitted

Featured Replies

Many thanks to Wayne for providing me with a New style Grill badge and Alan (blue2vrs) for helping

Was unsure if the old one would come off...but with a Hair dryer used on the rear of the old badge, it came off really easily

Cleaned off the old adhesive with AG Tar and Glue remover and IPA, then fitted the new badge

I think it looks great...more modern and fresh

Yes heating from the rear( bonnet up and through vents) is more effective than heating directly at the badge from the front so much easier to remove. It does look more modern/fresher  as a result

Much better Chris! Nicely done Sir.

Nah...I prefer the old one, more colourful...then again I am an old git myself!

No worries, Chris.

And very nice it looks - the badge black background merges well to your dark colour paint work!

And the rear?

PS: So which part no. (Badge) fits best to front/rear of your Octy2 ?

Looks nice and fresh. The new badges IMHO are a big move from the old ones. More modern and easy to upgrade the old ones which is a bonus.

What's the big chrome thing behind it, Chris?  ;)
