Trackday Footage VRS V M3

Featured Replies

I previously posted my track day video from last year at Brands Hatch in the Octy 2 section but feel it would be more appropriate here!

I was proud of how the Skoda performed against the M3, a Boxster and other far more track focused vehicles such as Clio 172's etc and proves what a fantastic car we all have

Car is modded as sign off below but at the time did not have either the front or rear ARB which i believe would have improved cornering and traction.

For the first two laps I took it easy as it was a bit damp!

Pity about the RVM but some very nice lines through the corners, did not see a missed apex but the M3 was all over the place.

Good vid (apart from the rvm!), it was going really well.

Ive wondered how the mk2's would go on track. If it was damp you would have an advantage over the M3, an average driver isnt going to be all that effective in a rwd car.

The ST and clio are different, they are pretty good in the wet and decent handling cars. Good stuff.

thicker arbs are generaly worse in the wet btw, so in those conditions they probably wouldnt of helped that much.
