Parrot kit problems (Cable advice)

Finally getting around to fitting an old CK3100 parrot kit into my MY12 VRS . I ordered an cable which was meant to be the correct part an SOT-976 but its missing a plug , presumably for the steering wheel controls

 

Car has this

A search on the parrot site suggests this cable

But that cant be right as the blue connectors are protected and again its missing that plug

 

Can anyone help ?

 

 

 

 

Same connectors, but you will have to take the blue part out of the original connector and put it in the parrot connector.

I think iirc the little blue plug is MDI just pop it out and put it in the other one .........if it reaches ?

On the back of the radio unit (or on top) is a layout for all the pins. (if you want to be sure what the connectors are for).

 

It should reach, because the blue plug stays at the same location as it was (directly into the head unit).

Needs the loom stripping back though to enable the old plug and most of the new wiring to drop behind the HU

 

There are other options I believe
