My rear wiper motor has sprung a leak and has now packed up, so I need a replacement.

I bought a used on online, Bosch 1J6 955 711 C and it's not the right one.

What would the correct part number be for a 2004 Fabia VRS? Apparently it's a Valeo unit.

If there's any doubt then I'll take the hatch cover of again to check.

There's a repair kit available. Can't remember the price or P/N for that though.

I've seen Bosch motors on ebay, boxed, new for not much more.

There are different variants which are VIN dependant. C, F and G revisions have been used although the G revision is most common. Unfortunately, you can no longer get the grommet that matches the one you have bought.

It looks like I need to find out the exact part number that is on my car now. I'm looking for the cheapest new one and I'll need it before Saturday 25th.

 

Getting that hatch cover back on will be fun.....

Part number is definitely 1J6 955 711G.

That's the early one and was superceded by 1J6955711F. You also needed to change the grommet.

No. The grommet and tube that works with his 'G' version won't work with your 'C' version.
