Aftermarket wheel ET. What's everyone running?

Featured Replies

As per title,

I know the vrs runs et51 standard but what's The lowest you guys run?

Mines on 45 and looks about right to me, fills the rear arch better.

Mine is on 45s as well and I run 8mm spacers on the back in the summer.

The 19" carlsson's I was looking at were et35 but I've seen a couple of sets of 18s et25. Now I like a bit of stance but not sure the octy would pull it off or that low an et is looking for trouble?!

Obviously I'd get the arches rolled/pulled a bit but without being near the car I can't work out how much poke/work I'd have on my hands.

Et41 on current 9x19" summer setup. Previous had et37 8,5x19" on front and et45 9,5x19" at the back.

Need to know the width of the rim too. It will be trouble even with 8,5x19 on that et if you are planning to go low.

ET45 with 8" rim, around 40mm lower than stock, no issues.

The 18's I've seen are:

1)9.5x18 et26 all round

2) 8.5x18 et25 all round

The 19s

8x19 et35 all round

1) won't fit and would look like mexipoke :wonder:

2) would be really thight and requires 215/40R18 tyres (or similar size)

8x19" et35 would fit with 225/35R19 tyres. 215 is not an option here, because the load rating is not sufficient for 1Z Octavia.

Swaying towards the 8.5x18's tbh although it has 18s on now and they look lost and tiny :)

18x8J ET42, Speedline Turini. Works very well for me.
