FMIC fitting

Featured Replies

Do I need any extra silicone joiners or anything?? Cus I`m going by the list and it lists these parts for the TB side..

76mm-63mm silicone reducer 90 degree, obviously connects to the intercooler.

Then I have a 90 degree 63mm silicone bend and 3 pieces of alloy piping... How do you connect 2 pieces of alloy with only two pieces of silicone??

The alloy pipe is 100mm straight coupler piece and a 90 degree piece... as per previous advised post..

Throttle Body side

1x 76-63mm 90 degree reducer in silicon

1x 63mm 90 degree silicon bends

1x 63mm 90 degree alloy bend

1x 63mm straight 100mm alloy coupler.

Does it connect to the original TB piping or something?

I would suggest the straight alloy coupler will connect to the inlet throttle hose.

Thanks bowders, your da man! :)

Lol...

Ok I've started fitting intercooler and I don't even think I Need that 100mm piece of piping, the forge MAP pipe goes where that should..??

So why were we given that piece of piping in the list??

Please can someone help??  Not meaning to sound too dumb but this is my first turbo car.

Is this the turbo outlet where I connect the other side of my intercooler??(pipe on the right in the first pic going down)  and if so what do I do with the metal piping on the left and the other two rubber pipes, one of the rubber hoses appears to be connected to my recirculation valve... where do I connect these two pipes if I remove the metal pipe?

This is a universal kit you have buddy so chances are you may not need everything you have in that kit. Yes if using a forge map sensor you can replace that 100mm pipe.

I would suggest that if you are fitting the kit as most folks do with that type of kit then you will be replacing the whole std VRS piping on the drivers side , including the metal "pancake" pipe and thus all the hosing and piping that is being fed to the back of engine and in yours pics where it locates to turbo. Instead you will be routing the piping from passenger side upwards over gearbox and side of engine to feed downwards to the turbo.

The only piping you will have drivers side is the FMIC to Throttle

Hope this helps

Yes that's what I need Vrade.  Where did you get that 90 degree pipe from with the 2 hose connectors??  I`m looking all over the internet and can`t find a piece like that..:(

I made it buddy!

Does anyone know whether it matters which way around the N75 and BOV connector are on the pipe?  Does one have to be before the other or does it have no affect on the engine?

The slugs dont have to be in any order.
