I didn't even think xenons were an option on the Elegance, in the UK at least.

I though they were only an option on the vRS.

 

I've certainly never seen another one.

I've never seen them on a non vRS either. I'd like xenons for my Ele but at ~£250 a side for OEMs, I think I'll pass.

I always thought the elegance was the top model in regard to add ons and the vrs is just the sport model.

Im guessing it may have been an expensive optional extra.

Last time I checked they were, Tom. Still, a bargain when compared to a Superb Xenon at ~ £615 per side - and that's the offer price

99.9% this car was for sale at a skoda dealer early last year,going off the reg number could be an ex skoda uk car.

I remember seing this when buying my elegance and noticed the lights.

As said, elegance is the highest spec (as standard) and the Vrs is the sport... With add on extras.

Things like the elegance draw under the radio etc, rear pop out cup holder and storage nets all standard.

You want to check out the L&K (that is the top spec, my dad just bought on of those to say sick with jealousy of it isn't even cutting it. Amazing car).

just what I did just stripped 1 for the heated seat elements and electric rear windows

DON'T BOTHER M8 I BOUGHT 1 CHEAP MAINLY FOR THE ELECTRIC REAR WINDOWS BUT YOU HAD TO CHANGED THE WHOLE LOOM AND BEING A PETROL IT WAS DIFFERENT

On the original Elegance you could spec Climatronic air-con. That option disappeared around 2005/2006.

Well I've never ever seen one with climatronic AC.

I still have my original Skoda Fabia November 2000 pricelist, & the only listed option for the Elegance was the metallic paint. :p  So those other options must have been added after 2001 as that pricelist was the same as the 2000 one.

AFAIK working for Skoda at time of Fabia launch all the way through till 2005 I never saw climatronic as even an option on Fabia mk1. In fact there's no mention of it on EKTA either.....

I'm sure I have a catalogue showing it somewhere.

I've seen it somewhere. And I've contributed to threads about retrofitting it (very difficult) so I'm pretty sure it was an option somewhere along the line. Of course, I could have dreamt it.

I found a Czech thread on retrofitting it, and they used the climatronic from the pre facelift mk2 Fabia. I'm sure if it was on the Fabia 1, they'd have used that.
