Question regarding brake boost mod

Featured Replies

Im goin to doing a few mods including

Pcv delete

N249 delete

On the pcv delete i have to block of one of the lines to the 'F' pipe which goes from inlet to brake servo. My question is, would i be ok to completely remove the F pipe and and join vac hose but keeping the check valve?

When you say check valve, do you mean the y shaped jet valve in the hard line or the one way valve at the servo?. If you mean the jet valve, its purpose is to keep up vacuum at the servo when in slow moving stop start traffic.

A few people have removed them on here, and to the best of my knowledge they have not posted any ill effects. Its one of those mods you would have to get used to the first few times you drive in heavy traffic.

If you mean the one way valve then I would definately keep that one as without it the servo will malfunction.

Yeah the one at the inlet side. Will keep it then but prob move it further towards the servo, prob along side the engine so its hidden
