Hi Guys, Looking for a bit of advice.

I have just bought myself a fairly tidy 1.8t 4x4 estate and after some ideas what may need looking at.

Its been a while since I posted in this section but all my Skoda's have been company cars and as I am now on my 5th so I bought this as my weekend toy/ fishing bus.

It does have decent service history up until a couple of years ago and it had the timing belt done 4 years ago at around 90k.

It has also had new disc's and pad's all round.

I have just had a new belt kit and water pump fitted along with fresh coolant. It will also be getting the usual oils and filters changed and plugs.

 

So what would you recommend I check and if need be replace.

For example breather hoses, sensor's, bushes etc.

I have not driven it much yet but I like it.

Not quite a quick as my last Octavia ( 1.8TSi ) but I suppose the 4wd system takes a bit away from it.

have a stage 1 map put on it will totally change it , and great in the snow

Don't really to as its quick enough for what I will be using it for.

It surprises a lot anyway due to being an estate.
