I have trouble finding correct sway bar bushings for my Octavia 1.8t AGU '99. Sway bar is 23mm thick, and all I could find are 21mm bushings.

Can these 21mm bushings be mounted on my sway bar, or should i keep searching for 23mm ones.

Old ones have number 1J0 411 314 G on them, and when I ask for them in store, they give me 21mm and say that those fit on 23mm sway bar.

21mm sounds correct for a 23mm bar.

Just replaced mine with 17mm on a 19mm bar (standard original). Smashed the plastic colars off though that come on the bar as standard.

There are loads of threads on this if you do a search. I ended up buying bushes off one of the shops from here as I couldn't find 17mm anywhere. I'll try and dig out where I got them from
