Had the N/S/F CV joint replaced along with the drop links ... however now on full left lock it has developed another noise ... which the garage seem to believe is related to the power steering ??

Not sure what to do next ... any suggestions more than welcome

The previous noise turned out to be the wheel arch lining not being correctly fitted upon replacement of the O/S/F CV joint

 

 

Just had the vRS in for it's annual service and the N/S/F CV joint needs replacing to pass the MOT and a number of advisory items to consider

 

- Turbo pipes need replacing

- EGR valve is leaking and needs replacing

- Brake fluid change

- Rear bump stops need replacing

- Cambelt and water pump need replacing as last replaced in 2007 at circa 70,000 miles

- Air conditioning system needs a service and the pressure sensor replacing

vRS is in for the N/S/F cv joint to be replaced this weekend and also just ordered the parts to replace the top boost pipe using the DIY guide on the forum, so once all those parts arrive over the next couple of weeks, they shall be fitted.
