help hand brake never been very good changed cables six months ago still not very good changed one of calipers still same ,so at weekend changed pads and discs still crap handbrake piston not sized winded back easy any ideas

If you've changed the pads and discs, you need to adjust the handbrake. You need to turn the adjusters behind the handbrake handle until the levers lift off the stops by about 1mm at the caliper.

The ability to wind back the pistons doesn't mean the handbrake lever mechanism in the caliper is good.
