Mate ,,,, take this advice ,,,,,,, the best option on a new FL yeti by a long long way is the electrically adjustable seats ,,, the normal seats don't adjust the base tilt , so unless you are a standard size you will have back problems. The seats in our FL aren't the most comfortable but prob no worse than our last car.

How many memory settings does the electrically adjustable seat have?

3 iirc

3 iirc

Yes three is correct.

Yes three is correct.

Each one operated by a different key?  Or is there a simple way to use both (all?) the keys interchangeably and switch between seat settings?

All three memory setting are available regardless of which key was used to unlock the car. So if the wife wants to drive whilst you are away on holiday, but you only have your key on the trip, she just gets in and press whatever memory is set to her key and off you go. For example my memory 1 is set to my key and memory 2 to the spare key. Memory 3 is a setting I use when off-roading with the seat very high up so I can see the ground better. But you can change to any of these even whilst driving by just pressing the relevant button 1 to 3.

I was tempted by the electric seat but I used the weight saving of the non-electric seat given that we're only getting a 1.2 as a decider, to help save some pennies. :)

Forgot you'd gone for the 1.2 Nick. Automatically presumed you'd gone for a derv :)

Maybe a good idea to post this in the "FL orders log results" topic.

Congratulations!  A nice combination - particularly with the Origamis.

Considering the electric seat. Would it struggle then with the 1.2 tsi engine, which we are going for?

Hope not cos that's what I have just ordered.

Well you don't want to be adding too much extra weight to the 1.2 if you don't need to. You can really feel it when you have a boot full etc. Not sure how much extra weight the electric seat is though. It is a brilliant engine imo.
