Bucket seats

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Does anyone know of any parts stores/ tuning shops (similar to demon tweeks)that sell bucket seats in the south east that you can visit and try out?

I'm considering getting something for track days etc but want to sample a few different options first if possible

Thanks Gaz, didn't realise they were that close :)

Dunno about now, but when I was an idiotic-speedfreak-danger-to-most-other-road-users (early 1980's), you could get decent 'seconds' from them for yer death-trap-road-rally-rocket

Does anyone know if there are rear seat upgrades?

The MSA have just put an age restriction on seats in rally cars, so if you are willing to accept something 5 years old, but still in good nick try putting an advert on the British Rally Forum, or talk to members of your local motor club. You may well find some going cheap.

Thanks, may be worth looking into.

Not sure if this is much help to you but id defo reccomend recaro pole postions, i have them in my titty and they are by far the comfiest seats i have ever sat on/in

Thanks, are they reclining ones? I'll have a little look.

If you are interested I will have 6 bucket seats in the next week or two.  These are all from Rally cars that are out of date, I am having two and I think I have already sold two so this leaves two, I will PM you with some pictures and price over this weekend, you will need to purchase the seat mounts separately as new seats will be fitted in the old mounts in the rally cars.

Thanks James That will be great

I will get in touch with the guys this weekend.

Try Rally Design in Whitstable and Tillet Seats in Sttingbourne, have a look on their websites.

also check out the british rally forum classifieds section as a lot of seats will be appearing on the there!

In fairness, Demon Tweeks are competitive for seats and they are all set out so you can try before you buy.

Charlie,

There is a motorsport supplier at Castle Combe, I have no idea what stock they carry etc, might be worth a look if you're going in April?
