Just bought a Skoda today and thought id sign up here

It's a vRS Octavia estate

The wife had a baby last year so in need of extra space I needed to go for an estate and I ended up with a short list of BMW 3 series, Audi A4, Ford Mondeo and Octavia

I found the BMW and Audi a bit boring and not as fun as the Octavia although it's taken a while to track down the spec I wanted.

I've ended up buying it from a dealer in Burnley and I live in Southampton! Mainly due to trying to find the right spec.

Anyway I'll be picking it up next week hopefully.

I went for the diesel - have always driven diesels before so just stuck with what I know.

It's race blue with DSG as I test drove a DSG a few weeks ago and really liked it - haven't had an auto for years so looking forward to it
