So going for r tech re map have slight chatter from dmf aT MO WILL CHANGE IF GETS WORSE, DO I GO FOR SMF OR DMF WITH STAGE 1 RE MAP ?

What torque is the remap, as that will help decide on what type of flywheel you ideally need.

My Insignifica developed a rattle, turned out at 25k miles the clutch release bearing had collapsed, which caused abnormal wear on the friction plate, which then knackered the DMF (all replaced under new car warranty ), so it sounds like yours will need changing anyway.

If the chatter you got now is not to your liking go dmf. Smf are crap for noise in my experience.

New dmf and clutch with new bearing will be fine for stage 1.

As above,SMF noise is horrid :(

 

If your not planning on going for stage2 power stay DMF,but upgrade to a better clutch.
