Just another thanks to Rob @ W8 Performance...

 

I have had my Fabia (poxy auto-correct keeps changing to Labia!!) for over 3 years now and the last 12 months has had me thinking about a stage 1 to enhance the overall performance of the car - WHY DID I WAIT??!!

 

I decided that the map was going to happen so after asking around a couple of members I know and trust, I took the advice to go with a Shark map and I was recommended to speak to Rob @ W8 Performance as he is my local, authorised re-seller.

 

I contacted him on the Sunday afternoon and met up with him the following Wednesday to discuss in more detail and to have a quick blast out in his mapped SE, he also drove mine and instantly knew there was a huge advantage to having the map! He read my ECU and sent it off to Shark for tweaking. I met him again the following night to have the map applied and WOW, what a difference!!

 

When driving conservatively, the car delivers the power with more ease and refinement. When driving a little more enthusiastically, the power just DOES NOT STOP!!! When overtaking one (or multiple) car(s) you have sooooo much more confidence and it happens with ease.

 

I have been driving the car with the map for 400 miles or more now and I have to say, I feel like I have a new car again!

I started off with a stage 1 map then the ball started rolling and I've spent a fortune!

Mine has a PD160 air intake and that's about it performance wise, LOADS of cosmetic stuff though...

Front mount intercooler, full exhaust hybrid turbo (soon to be GTB1756) and will be having it's 3rd remap!

Once we did the RR day I didn't think it would be long.

The well mapped cars has so much more power lower down, making then so much more drivable.
