So I sold the Fabia VRS, genuinely sad to see it go.

Replaced with; Audi A4 2L TFSI SE S Line Quattro.

One owner, full service etc etc...

With the SE editions you get two tone full leather, 3 spoke steering wheel with controls, 18 inch DTM Style wheels and black exhaust tips. I wasn't sure on the colour at first, I really wanted black but my last two cars have been black.

I have plans but will be slow progress to start as my house purchase is going through at the moment.

Very nice Lloyd! Cant wait to see it tomorrow ;)

Looking good Lloyd. Also looking forward to seeing it tomorrow :D

I imagine you'll be seeing quite a traction advantage. :)

Similar engine to mine.

Those wheels are on the TT quattro sport as well.

Nice choice, I'm sure the increase in refinement

feels nice too.

Looks very smart!

Welcome to the club my friend :)

Certainly a step up in refinement, comfort and traction is unreal. Not as "fun" as the Fabia though.

Dealer window sticker removed, dealer tax disc holder removed and replaced with an S line version.

Leather seats are amazing....mpg not so amazing. Ha.

I love it. Can't wait to see it tomorrow!!

Looks very nice.

Over 400bhp in mine. & I have to REALLY try to get it to lose traction even on the wettest & greasiest of tarmacs :D

Very Nice car! I been looking at S3's lately and noticed the interiors of these Audi's are really smart!

Looks great Lloyd

Lovely looking motor, enjoy mate.

Really nice looking car, good colour as well. B)

Nice looking car. I do like the interior of Audis.

I should really update this:

If you are following me on Instagram or Facebook, you will have seen and read about what happend.

10 days after ownership, traveling to a business meeting along the m4 (6th gear,70mph) the oil pressure warning light comes on. Turning off at my exit, the engine sounds like a bag of spanners and all power goes until.....BANG. Nothing, engine is dead.

Called the RAC who come out in a transit van to tow me....you can't tow a quattro. So I waited and waited for a flatbed to come and get me. I was taken to the garage I bought the car from 10 days previously, where they apologised and gave me a hire car ; gold toyota avensis 140k miles on the clock which also wouldnt start one morning when I had work.

I left it a day before contacting the garage to see what was going on, they ignored me palmed me off with excuses, however i knew that the garage around the corner were actually doing the work. So I phoned the garage and asked what was the issue with my vehicle, "Chain slipped, valves bent, cam seized and teeth stripped!"

So not good. The car was one owner from new, with full service history.

The dealer I bought it from offered me three opitons

1.Have a nicer hire car till they put a new engine in the A4

2. Have another car from them with a discount as an apology

3.Full refund including my Fabia back

I decided, number three. I had my Fabia back with a full refund.

Since then I have put a deposit on a new car. I am keeping it under wraps until I actually have it, as recently I have had the worst luck. My wallet was stolen, my xmas present watch smashed to bits......ergggghhhhh.

Anyway, sorry about the long story.

Bad times :(

At least the garage were very good about it and gave you a full refund.

Good look with the next car.

Phil

Mate that's awful, gone cold just reading it!!

I really hope things turn around for you - they do say bad things come in 3's!!

I feel for you dude. You're having some rotten luck. Hopefully your new ride will treat you better. :)

The dealer did offer to find me another Audi or at least another car with a 2.0tfsi engine, but I am completely put off going near VAG.

As I said above, I checked the mileage, owners, service history and eveything I could before buying it. It had a timing belt change not even two years ago.

My new car is not VAG and I should be picking it up today all being well.

think I saw this on an audi forum. Shame you had such bad luck.

That is awful news Lloyd. Good luck with the new car. Hopefully this one is problem free :)

Well that was a short love affair!
