New rear clusters...

Featured Replies

If you had the choice of buying the new rear clusters for your 2003 Fabia, would you?

The more I look at the new Fabia from thhe rear the more I like the rear clusters. I din't like them in the beginning, but like I saiid, they're growing on me. AND it looks great on black.

If I do buy them they'll only cost about GBP40 for a set...what would you do?

At that price, you can afford to buy them and try them ;) Have you got any pics side by side of the two? :D

Chris

Go for it! :)

At that price id buy them for mine!

Anyone got a link? Sounds interesting

Paul

Funny this thread has been started because only today i was thinking about putting the standard rear clusters back on, because although i have the black milotec ones, i'm still not too sure if i really like them.

Let me know if they're going cheap and have some piccies. ;) Black ones are the only time I would ever consider clusters, but I'm looking more to get the facelift standard ones with the "C" shape in them.

A lot of positive replies. I think I'm gonna buy them. Thing is what the hell am I gonna do with the old ones when I buy them...?

Paint them! A few people spray the inside to give them a smoked look

What could you use to not mask the brake lights etc too much? Might consider this while I'm changing mine over. ;)

You can special paint, quite a few of the scoob drivers went through a phase of doing it.

I did mine, with tint spray and lots of laquer

Any clues? I'm not a member of scoobynet so can't really do a search over there. :)

As walkie says, tint spray and lacquer. IIRC DT used to sell it....

I'll post a piccie if I find one, think I've got one of Brunters, with my car next to another, good for comparison

I'll try to sell the old ones back to the dealer for very cheap as a spare. With the new ones I'll have high-quality tint fitted over the C...dark tint...will look awesome.

Get some tint spray from Halfords and then just keep doing coats until you're happy with the look. Then just lacquer it :D You can go quite dark without it affecting the light output...

Oh yeah. I'm definitely getting them.

Judging by the alloys that silver car is a 2.0. Noticeable difference in height between the 2.0 and vRS, and the 2.0 there is on stock suspension.

Gonna buy those lights tomorrow :D

Its not a 2.0, its the now defunct 1.4 Sport (now the 1.2 Sport).

Ah...din't pay attention to the tailpipe, the 2.0 has two outlets on the exhaust.

Still the 15" rims though...same thing therefore..:)

They arent the same rims as what comes on the 2.0 here.

Sport..

Close but not the same

The 2.0 2005 comes with the rims in the first picture. The older model comes with the ones in the second pic, like the ones I have.
