The lower elbow came off on the m11 losing power and a bit of smoke to boot. I think the clip has been lost. Would this simply have been user error when I replaced the clip recently it does this point to something else? Can the clips be found easily at motor factors?

Could someone help with a quick how to on putting the pipe back together . The spring clip is still there but the green ring has been displaced. I will take some pictures later if that helps. I wondered if this was my error in reassembling the pipe a couple of weeks ago or whether clips have lost their spring

I have reattached the pipe and re seated the clip. I have taken a picture to show the finished article. Does this look correct. The clip seems to have a groove and also something for the ends to seat in. Does feel to me like it is in positively. Have I missed something?

Solved this by looking at it again in daylight and bending the clip inwards slightly so that it located more positively on the pipe lugs. If this fails I will stick some self tappers in as others have done
