Cancellation fees (Prestige)

Featured Replies

Be aware, some companies such as Presige have ridiculous cancellation charges.

Had to cancel a policy in the first month.

Underwriting company charged 20% + £15.

Fine I thought.

Prestige then slap a £200 fee on top.

Impressed?

No.

Did you tell them to Fox off

That is ridiculous & completely designed to rip you off.

Thanks for the heads up as I would have considered them next renewal after hearing some good prices from other Briskoda members.

On my avoid list now :) hate being ripped off. They are £200 better off but at least 2 x potential customers less (& counting)

I was just about to ring around for quotes for my lass. Someone isn't getting a call.

You don't say why you had to cancel but it is in their terms and conditions.

I know very few of us read them but it is worth checking the fees they charge to cancel.

That's why I thought it worth highlighting. :)

?

If you mean the £200 charge, I am grateful.

I think he means as a sponsor on here.

£200 admin charge is completely taking the ****. I'll try and remember to exclude them from my list of choices when my stuff is up for renewal.

Damn, I thought I was £200 better off.

Sorry yes I did mean as in as a sponsor. Not on the back of this, but for other things. This however confirms any second thoughts I had. :(

Feedback works. I'm certain this will come up in the next conversation... I'll remember, but do I want to risk others experiencing the same... not really.

I'll stick to the sponsors in future then!

A result, sort of.

It goes to show that some businesses can't see the bigger picture & just want to screw you over for a short term profit.

People power :)
