Issues;

Dings and scratches here and there

Just wondering what it'd be worth :-)

Worth more broken buddy as countless people have found out. As a whole though and due to age mileage and points noted mostly the faded paint issue. I'd say £1k tops. Sad I know but true.

Worth far more keeping it and running it into the ground, I reckon.

I think the Mk1 vRS has entered that weird stage in its life.

The value has completely dropped off and over the next couple of years a lot will be off-roaded / scrapped / broken. After that period, the few remaining "minters" with low mileage will start to increase in value and the car will begin its journey to classic car / retro status, much like Sierras, Escorts and other 90's motors are doing at present.

Be lucky to get a grand tbh on a yplate.

Its never going to be in the league of those cars being a Skoda.

Ohh I wish I'd kept all the mexico's and rs2000's I had in the 80's I even scrapped a couple when they failed MOT. It's surprising what was once worthless now commands good money. Can't get an RS 2000 for under £5k now. And good ones go for £15k. The mk1 octy VRS will follow suit.

Same as the MK1 Fabia vRS :)

Rare (ish) as they don't make a diesel anymore... look after and SE and you can bet you'll have some good returns.

Oh okay, thought it'd be worth a lot more tbh :-( Ah well, guess I'll stick with it, just was thinking of getting a diesel. Looks like more mods to come in the future :-D

Will have to agree to disagree. :)

Fabia vRS even more lolworthy.  Not like either of these cars are particularly popular, sought after or well thought of outside of Skoda owners.

I know scary isn't it now you'd be fighting them off with a stick.

Fabia vrs not sought after or popular? They made 30,000 and they don't make one like it anymore... I'd say it was...
