Hi looking to replace my standard fuel pump on my mk 1 octy vrs ,now ive been advises that the sytec one is the best one to go for ,

The problem is ive looked on ebay and the forums and found a few references to it but no part number , im looking for a replacement that fits straight in to the standard housing and plugs in to the standard loom ,anyone ??

I have a Walbro one but it's a bit like a buzzing bee under the back seat.

The OEM ones are perfectly fine, if yours is failing then just buy another one. The car is 12 years old, so the next pump will outlive the car by some considerable margin.

Agreed. I needed a bigger one as I'm running a fair bit more bhp now.

Im just going to replace because of age and running stage 2 now ,going on dyno in next couple of months so wanted to make sure its best as possible

So you guys recon just replace with another skoda one ??

Factory pump is perfectly fine for stage 2, if its running fine now then just keep the existing one. When this one starts to fail it will be very obvious.
