A title really are they any good for towing mine is a 110bhp Tdi, I have a caravan which is about 900kg, Also a car trailer that i tow small cars with.

I have towed the car trailer with my car without a car on it, Its quite a low weight single axle trailer but i dont think the octavia will be much good with the extra cars weight !

I am interested to see if people have towed much with there cars ?

yes is good...don't worry at all.My friend has a 1.9tdi transporter 105 hp and is towing a 1200kg caravan.The engine is fine,the clutch isn't lasting for more than 20.000 miles,especially the dmf

I am intending to change my cars clutch and dmf to a non dmf flywheel when the time comes.

Well i've bought and sold a few cars over the last few months and every time i've used a a frame to tow the other car so it's towed x2 it's own weight and well i must say i can still get up to 60 rather quick considering i'am towing an other octavia, and the one i've been towing with is a 90bhp,

I tow with a vrs petrol a 1300kg caravan + awning + a full car - It is very stable up to about 55, after that It's a bit waggy - I don't use a stabiliser  - The diesel is likely to be a little better due to the extra weight. For the size of car, it tows very well
