151k - is this the highest mileage Yeti yet ?

On my regular visits to Autotrader looking for 170s, I found this:

A 2010 170 Elegance with 151k miles on the clock.

 

Must be a candidate for highest mileage on a Yeti so far...

Wow, I thought James was the highest on around 120k-ish now I believe.

I suspect SUK is not aware also (so what's new there!) as James' car was featured at the 100k mark on a dealer site.

It's about £6-7k less than if it had around average miles on it.

 

Reckon you could probably renew most of the drivetrain for that

I think SUK were so interesed In James I's Yeti as it had never broken down and had been 100% reliable.

That's quite impressive, must be getting on for ~50k/yr.

IIRC, the owner said she was doing 1200-1500 miles a week. It's on a '61' plate.

This mileage is not unusual for VAG engines, two of my former Passat company cars were bought by company staff when the lease ended and they still have them, the 1.8T  "V" registered has done over 210k miles, with original engine and the other a  2 litre "52" Reg has 172k miles and still on the original parts. As seen on my other posts my "06" Octy. has done over 170k miles without a single serious problem

Just starting to look at yeti's - seen a few around the 100k mark. Looking forward to first test drive on Saturday
