Hi, I'm Ian and thought it was time I joined here.

 

My first Skoda was a Felicia in 1995 after a long period of having Company Cars and then going self employed. (I was renting a Nissan Micra on an ad-hoc basis but eventually the work warranted buying something). I followed it up with a Favorit Estate Diesel, then fell for the Octavia when it was launched and have just sold my third.

 

I've traded it in for a 2011 Superb Elegance DSG which I'm looking forward to collect next week. I admired the Superb in 2010 but thought I'd let DSG and twin tailgate bed in a bit more before getting one.

 

(I went out looking for a Diesel DSG Octavia Estate but realised I would cope with a Petrol Superb even better!)

Auric, if you are asking about the Superb, it is the Petrol 1.8 TSI 160BHP. I gather the DSG has 7 gears rather than the usual 6, I haven't worked out why yet.
