Hello everyone on Britskoda.

Had a mk1 octy vrs estate for about a year now,so about time I joined up. Being into me motorbikes I wanted something with a bit of poke but also cheapish & practical. Got to say I haven't been disappointed. Apart from a couple of the standard niggles I've really enjoyed it. Might be asking some stupid/obvious questions sometime soon,so be gentle with me.

I found both liftgate grommets broken on my Octavia and suspect them of causing small corrosion on the tailgate and a previous issue with the brake light (water got inside). I want to replace the grommets and assume I first need to remove the interior trim from the tailgate. Since I have zero experience with such work, I would appreciate some advice, or perhaps someone can share official instructions. Thanks in advance.

Karoq gearbox doesn't creep?

Hi, I have just bought a 2023 Karoq auto but am disappointed to find the car does not creep to allow for slow movement parking.Yes I know, I should have checked during the test drive. Is there a setting I have missed? I have read we can cause damage to the clutches if we use the brake to "creep". Is that correct? Also, my 12 year old Mercedes auto will hold the car on a hill, perhaps on a queue of traffic, by pressing the HOLD feature but the Karoq will need the Auto stop feature turned on.
