Featured Replies

After completing my SMF conversion. I am on to the next job.

I am been to my local breakers and they have a elegance 1.8t estate... It has factory fit cruise control.

My questions are:

2nd how do I remove said looms

3rd is there a guide of how to fit it all? so i know how to remove ?

4th do i need vagcom to activate it

and 5th (sorry) the donor is a 53 plate my car is a 2001 Y will it still fit?

Cheers,

Paddy

This is from a 2003 vRS Octy for reference.  I don't know if Y reg will take cruise.  Assume they all can?

and in relation to 4) Yes you do - Have to login to instrument cluster with a code (think its 11463 from memory) so that a G appears in the module title, and cruise is then activated.

If you google "seatcupra cruise" you'll probably find a handy guide you can use for your car - guide done using Leon Cupra from memory, which is basically the same/
