Would you buy

These and put on existing set of 17s Spiders ( I already have and look nice in anthracite, really fills the arches)

or these and put on the standard alloys for a bit cheaper (I'd spray them in anthracite also, really gone off standard silver)

Then there is also Maxxis, never used them personally

I use Maxxis MA-Z1's. can't rate them highly enough in the dry or wet. When the temperatures get better they are unbelievable for grip!!

Got the wrong profile on those, so they are bit more expensive so closer to the price of the Falkens

What puts me off a little, they are the worst in the fuel efficiency though

What you gain in grip you lose in economy....I reckon most of the time the 195s would be best on economy with the right tyre.....shame the spiders look so damn good

I also use MA-Z1 maxxis on the front.  Will put on back I think when ready.  A very much not well known tyre that performs well , and it also priced well too.

Another convert for MA-Z1's fantastic grip in wet and the dry. Managed to even persuade my mate to run them on the rear of his Supra and he loves the grip and that's running 400bhp, half the price of the Bridgestones he was running before and so much better

Hankook's have good ratings now?

I picked my se up at the weekend and it's got Pirelli p zeros all round - it makes a difference to how confident you can be!

I used to use toyos but went off them as they weren't that great in the wet - and considering we have rain quite a bit ;)

Never used proxes 4 though - used toyo s and r.

as for tyre size mine are 215/50/17, fill my arches nicely but then again mine is a octy.. but i would go with 205 or 195 just for the stretched look never 225 :dull:

I'd go for the toyos
