Octavia vRS Remap in South West

Well after a call to shark and a little confusion over the ecu they now say it will work with the sts without having to be removed. It's booked in so we shall see at the time. Also gone for the lowering springs and milltek cat back non resonated exhaust (sssshh, don't tell the missus). Getting it dyno tested as well so hopefully will get some pleasing figures.

Good news then. Now you know you can use the STS to revert it back to standard before you get it serviced so the dealer doesn't overwrite it by accident.

Let us know the dyno results!

Unfortunately, the non-res Milltek drones like crazy on the motorway. Drove me crackers. No way of hiding that from the wife I'm afraid. Swap to the resonated, far far better.

The straight through on my Sti was quieter when cruising. Shame really, as the non-res sounded great when booting it, but ruined the overall experience IMO.

Check out the thread where the op asks about the Milltek. Confirms what I said.

From what I'm reading there is a mix of opinions so any more would be grateful. I don't want it too loud when cruising but defo want to hear it when I'm putting my foot down.

You'll definitely hear it when cruising. The booming/drone is very very annoying.
