Just looking in the discount section, and wondering what people have bought from the discount suppliers. Then got to thinking that maybe its worth keeping tabs on what we (Briskoda members) buy from these nice people, so that we can a) offer them good reason why they should keep the discount on offer, and maybe even put some pressure on them to increase discounts etc. Plus it would give members thinking of making purchases ideas as to where they can source parts, and what prices/service they can expect (although I am sure that they all offer excellent value and service). At the moment this normally seems to happen through the Performance section, but as I mentioned in an earlier post I am often away and then spend ages when I am back doing searches and reading huge threads to see who bought what where and what it's like.

Don't know what others think, maybe I just have to much time on my hands and should keep quiet :confused:

Tried on the insurance, it was more expensive than my best quote, even with the discount

Impreziv, brake fluid, KW suspension, full H&S decat exhaust, brake fluid

Demon Tweeks, loads of stuff for rallying, not used the Briskoda discount as I get one through BTRDA anyway

Sejoc, 3 sets of front discs and 2 sets of rears.

See, this is where the reviews section comes into place. With or without discount, it doesn't hurt writing a few words, good or bad, about the things you've bought that might help others... Obviously we're not looking for reviews on the Takeaway Curry at your local

Jetex CAT back exhaust - fitted free by Jabba as it was one of the first

Bailey DV - @ 5% general discount from Jabba

Dynatwist CAI - from Badger5 (not sure what the discount was but it's cheaper than advertised; Bill can ellaborate;) )

The 5% general discount at Jabba is inline with what they give other enthusiast group. The group buy discount of 10% was for 5 or more (upto 10) people off a remap.

At some point I will get back to Jabba and ask about group buy discount off other items. At the moment though the group buy is working well on the remaps.
