MAJOR failure with Yeti

Featured Replies

I have had mine for a couple of years and I guess these things drop in price over time. I can't remember how much I paid but it's good to see some of you have purchased at a great price.

It's a very useful piece of kit and modern cars are so reliant on a decent battery and voltage. Gone are the days when you could bump start a Mini with an almost dead battery and keep it running by using 'part choke' .

Where's OP?

Not been back here at all since posting this thread when I looked at the members profile.

Hmm...

Where's OP?

On half term. :giggle:

Is it you know who?

I've also been looking on the Nissan forums (unfortunately not a patch on this one) and it suffers the same sort of abuse from people with nothing better to do than try and make themselves seem important. It's sad that forums seem to attract sad people who really have no interest in what the forum is about, only the attention they get from the replies and comments

I find this quite useful

Having got one, concur with comments made, easy option to check, and if necessary monitor battery under working conditions. Easier than meter, bargain @ £3.88

Hi all it was my sister who wrote the post for me. Have been waiting for a diagnosis

with the Yeti so it has been at the garage for a few days after it was carried away on a low loader.

The battery was not charging but then it was & has no fault, the problem is thought to be in the radio

& it may have been turning its self on & off or not, & loading & playing (but no volume or display) the 3 CD's that would not be ejected as they are all chewed/scratched now I have got them out ! I am waiting for a complete new radio unit so fingers x'd that will be the end of the problem.

We are not 'fake' posters just lead busy lives with limited time to spend on the www. Thank you to all who answered

most of you were very helpful.
