After testing a Fiesta ST, a Tigra 1.4 [i wish this came with the 1.9TDi engine..], Mini Cooper and Fabia vRS, I fear, pending a final motorway storming test-drive, that the ickle vRS is for me.

Never driven a TD engine'd car before, and that kick at 1,500rpm is going to become addictive.

Looking forward to a few show meets, etc.

Cheers Stu. I'm in Hertfordshire, and that weekend is my birthday weekend, so I may well be a prebooked, but I'll look forward to the reports. Seems this diesel tuning can reap many benefits for a 'simple' remap.

Just found out from a guy at my fathers workplace that his local dealer are doing cost price Skodas this weekend only. Going to ring tomorrow to see if it's a existing customers only deal, or if anyone can buy. Heh. I was happy paying 12k for the vRS!
