Did fogs in lamin-x it's good stuff

yellow tint on the front fogs, genuine Lamin-X. Very easy to apply with a little heat from a hairdryer or hot air gun on a low setting.post-73816-0-67749900-1392737708_thumb.jpg

No one else had their tube of film sat on and the sheets screwed up in the post then?

Mine arrived in a very thick, strong cardboard tube rolled up and intact.

Hi Switchblad3,

I used the same clear laminate on my fogs as on the bonnet. No point in pictures as there is nothing to see being clear. the only thing it is possible to see on the bonnet when the light is right is a thin line where the laminate ends.

I paid £90.00 for 6% smoked ones to cover my fogs, front and rear lights...Been advised these were easy to fit etc and followed the guide...I fitted these to my fronts and rears...Two days later the film stared peeling off and niticed few air bubles so decided to take these off...so wasted my money and IMO if you want to tint something speak to hte specialist...I've been quoted £120.00 to do the same on my light by the tinting company but I thought buying and doing these myself will save me some money. I didn't but we learn something everyday.

With some things you better of letting someone who knows what he's doing rather than doing it yourself.

My Lamin-x just came today, in a strong cardboard tube, going to fit maybe when i buy new headlights :P

Lamin-x too :)

As below light blue tint instead of the usual dark/yellow tint:

Never had a problem with it  - relatively easy to put on and only came off when I took it off.

Hope this helps

Mine too.

I think the postman sat on it though.  Even the knife was broken in half.

Phoned laminex people and they just told me to moan to the post office and claim.

For the cost I couldn't be bothered.

Even so, that's a pretty poor attitude from Lamin-X and not great customer service :(

Yes, didn't order any more.

Got the impression they get people doing the same for a freebie.

Way of the world I guess.

It is good stuff so stands to reason some try it on I suppose.

Jonnie5ive bought some imitation stuff IIRC, it promptly came off and replaced with the proper article.

I had subtle tint Lamin-x and as said, great stuff.... held my fog together :giggle:
