Any info on this clutch?

Featured Replies

Was browsing awesome and saw this, it isn't listed for the Fabia but obviously the ibiza is the same engine and box. Seems a good price but their isn't a quoted figure for the torque it can hold. If it's anything to go by the helix SMF kit it should also be a good kit. Really trying to avoid spending near enough 1k on a clutch as I'm hopefully wanting a new car next year but I'd like to make use of the torque I can get from the PD150 turbo that's in the car

Its still expensive as it doesnt include a flywheel

Yeh it does, says twin mass flywheel at the end of the description and there's another exactly the same that says no flywheel required and it's £100 odd cheaper

I'm hoping anyways :( haha

Doesn't include flywheel I'm afraid dude :(

I think thats a helix kit designed for use with the standard dual mass flywheel. Haven't actually seen that kit before so good find in that respect!

If you need a pukka clutch then theres only one way! Save up :)

Helix clutches are fantastic quality, properly designed and engineered, expensive, but the best always is.

I wouldn't worry about torque figures, it'll handle as much torque as the rest of your drivetrain can.
