Ordered a vrs estate diesel DSG yesterday, metallic black, options: cruise control, Amundsen satnav, black style pack, Tow bar prep and spare wheel.

Expected delivery time 22 weeks, I'm okay with the that because I will out of the country until June anyway.

Very excited.

What's keeping me up at night is the colour; the configurator made black with anthracite wheels look good, the dealer said he had seen one with this and thought it looked odd. There was a solid white with black wheels at the dealer and it looked lovely, though it's a bit bright and flashy for my tastes.

Anyone have any views on the subject of colour?

Thanks, looks agressive. I think I'm going to call it Darth Vader.

I found a pic online of one in silver though, it looks like a better contrast between light and dark.
