It might be the disc burning that has gone wrong???

  • Author

maybe, but its done this one 2 different burned disks now with 2 diff downloads

veified data

had to burn to dvd as cd was too small

If its v8 or higher it will need to be a dual layer...

When you put the DVD in, you can confirm if the copy has started. After about 10 mins, try and eject the DVD. The columbus should prompt you and allow you to monitor progress, if the disc just ejects then the copy has not even started. The actual copy should take about 50 mins.

it does say unable to eject unless cancel download. but the progress bar gets close to the end then starts again. might be this dual layer problem tho ?

why dual layer tho ?

Size of the file is bigger than 4.7gb I believe.

O, so these 8.5 disks i burnt on must be dual leyer then. tidy

So that bits right

Thinking my HDD in the radio is shagged then. 2 disks from 2 diff downloads and still does it

Perhaps the problem is the pirate copies. See if your dealer does a reasonable price. You can get lucky.
