Yeah I wasn't taken by the overall appearance of the exterior.... Seems to sit too high with too small wheels to suit the skirts they have bolted on...

Yeah more flattering angle there. Skoda aren't great at promotional pics. Also have u noticed all the computer generated pics on the website are lowered. Even skoda must realise their cars sit too high!

Surely, yes. But I can't find it mentioned anywhere which ones. I would guess at least red, white, black... maybe yellow, race blue...

I understand the Citigo MC is available in red, black, white and silver. Obviously this doesn't necessarily have any bearing whatsoever on the Rapid version, but the silver colour wasn't offered on the outgoing Citigo Sport.

I've a se sport spaceback and I double checked the wheel size because I thought that looked way too small,but no, they are in fact 17"

I think that the car sits too high (as do most of the skoda range). I'm looking at some eibach springs that although only drop by 3cm, I think will have a big impact on how the car looks.

I've a black grill surround in place of the original chrome one and I've had the standard wheels finished in black too. It's looking good

yup, and skoda and seat photoshop the wheels to look bigger and fatter.

 

Interesting to note that the side repeaters are still mounted in the rear quarter of the front wing, but it's stated that as of week 22 (2016 MY) production, the side repeaters are supposed to be located in the wing mirrors (a la Octavia).

 

Does this mean the Monte Carlo (which is generally a 'Limited Edition') will only be in production as a 2015 MY version?

 

Seems strange to introduce a new variant so close to the MY switchover… even more so if current orders are not produced until week 22 (which is only 11 weeks away) or after in which case they'll differ from the cars currently being showcased.

Exactly my issue with the standard wheels/suspension, so I fitted 7.5J ET35 FX004's to increase the track width by 17.35mm per side and lowered it on Eibachs and it now looks perfectly balanced (IMO). Monte grille makes a big difference also (more Zip and less Zimmer Frame).
