  • LOL, Auto Express repeat what Skoda tell them. They are given a press release.   They sold well in the UK if under 6,000 in 3 years is good, & 2000 sold in the UK last year out of 32,000 Fabi

  • Pimp my yeti.... that looks ridiculous  IMO   I wonder if the range topping Fabia in Mk iii guise will just be  the Monte Carlo. same engines, just more wolves clothing.

  • Surprising how many have turned towards motorbikes for "Fun".   I've turned the same way too, even when we bought my wife's BMW our thoughts were you are sat in the same traffic 95% of the time whet

Haha. Not far off ;).

Jokes aside. Honda make a dct vfr1200. You even get the flappy padel like a vrs ;). Still no steering wheel though ;)

Does it come with matching panniers full of oil?

What would they do that for? So it can be delivered to desperate vrs drivers around the country in ultra fast time? ;) haha.

No, if it was the bike equivalent to a vRS it would need a direct oil feed.

But that would be a good idea, a Skoda Assist rapid response oil dispenser.

I know mate. I got what you were getting at :). I just thought it needed an equal response ;). Haha.

It would! Theres money to be made. Go n buy yourself a dct vfr1200 gaZ, quick time

^^. Apologies about the capital letter being on the wrong end of your name haha.

Wish I still my old CBR 600, it would've matched my Monte perfectly.

Nice that! On that note, get another bought ;)

Similar but no option for manual intervention, just open the throttle and go  :)

Looks nice! Never ridden a zrx1200 but plenty seem to love em.

What do you think of the street triple prykey? I had a ride on my ex boses n loved the chirpy triple. Cant beat the sound of em i dont think.

I didn't find the seat very comfortable although it was the standard one and not the gel one, it sounded lovely and was pretty quick and really looked the business, however in a funny way I think that I preferred the Speed Four that it replaced.

Oo really? I guess somebody has to like the 4cyl engines ;). Haha.

I've had 2 twins and I'm building a parallel twin now for the Mrs, a basket case we bought, which is now looking brand new lol and I'm thinking of getting a cheap Ducati 900 s to build a cafe racer type of bike, love twins, but it just happens that I have a IL4 at the moment the zrx is a very grunty bike and yes the stock seat like any bike is ****e easy to get sorted

Yeah. I bet a 1200 il4 is good. Big enough to have enough torque lower down.

Oo sounds nice. Cant beat a ducati cafè racer tbh. They look brill when done properly.

Id love to have a project bike. Just havent got the space or money at the moment. One day though!

This was one I did a while back, as I lost my mojo which is always the way when building bikes....Before and after photos

Started with this

And ended up with this...all modded

Looks good. Fun to do?

Bandits are always good for that arent they. The aftermarket parts list you can get for them is endless isnt it. One of the best for it i think.

You should post a pic up of the ducati when youve done it. Id love to see that ;)

Howay lads, I love bikes as much as you obviously do but not on a car forum but I think we've had enough bike pics now.

Unless you have a CBR 600 Monte like mine that is.

Well on the bike forums I'm on theres a section where u can put up wot else u ride or drive or fly or even float.......so it seems just talking cars is so boring...

Sorry but as your bike colleague suggest, you've gone a bit OTT on the bikes and spoilt the original thread.

Well the original thread seemed to have died. So i didnt see any harm in us having a chat.

Is it because bikes are so much exciting than cars, is that what it is? Is this thread too exciting for you all? ;) haha.

Sorry u feel this way but I'm sure one of the mods could tidy it up by removing the photos.................there again as Otaylor said the thread had died a death....if u hadn't noticed....

Feel like a school kid getting told off for speaking in class Haha

That'll be Detension for you all weekend and don't think you'll be going on your bike young man.

Haha.

Id like to reply to this properly, but as its not on topic, i wont. ;).

My partner tried out a Monte Carlo Tech version for an afternoon trial, thinking of trading-in

However on a her return, her comments were "I'd sooner keep my trouble free 40000 mile Fabia  vRS, as it has so much more go". Real driving Fun!

But then of course she would, as she is a "Headmaster's" missus.

Enjoy the fair weather lads, when it comes.
