Not enough people wanting to buy a REAL FUN small Skoda hatch that's why Skoda aren't planning to make a hot hatch Fabia, Rapid or Citygo.

Maybe if the new Fabia is a success then they might change their minds but VAG have plenty of hot hatches in their stable as it is without adding more.

As I pointed out above ,it doesn't need to be "HOT" can be as suggested "Warm", with 130 bhp or 150 bhp TDI or a 130 bhp 1.2 TSI.

 

That could still be relatively low cost fun , economical and who knows may be even a looker in Monte format.

Perhaps a Special Edition phase out model! As Skoda did with the MK1 SE.

      Pimp my yeti.... that looks ridiculous  IMO   I wonder if the range topping Fabia in Mk iii guise will just be  the Monte Carlo. same engines, just more wolves clothing.

      Surprising how many have turned towards motorbikes for "Fun".   I've turned the same way too, even when we bought my wife's BMW our thoughts were you are sat in the same traffic 95% of the time whet
