Lowering springs for Octavia 4x4

Featured Replies

will try and get my car on the ramp later, however from what you describe, mine are the same

.....but you do have a boot full of ICE. :)

very true, idiot here forgot that:O Will get some pics anway so you can have a peruse and see if they are of any use

Dampers shouldn't effect height AFAIK.

Not directly, but a major slam might well need shorter damper rods, in order to prevent the springs lifting off their seats on full droop, and/or the pistons bottoming out before you reach the stops on compression.

That's true but the question was if the car would be any lower with koni dampers instead of OEM.

Finally I bought a set of H&R Octavia Estate springs for my Hatch:)

The Hatch seems to be awesome with these springs and a little bit (40mm) lower than the stock one..

I would recommend these for any Hatch 4x4 and I'd like to thank the Briskodian members (in this topic) for helping me find something to fit in correctly in my car:)
