Hi everybody,

I have nearly finished uni and am in the process of looking for a new car. I had a seat Ibiza mk4 before but I now fancy a fabia. Does anybody have any opinions/reviews on the car mentioned above?

Fantastic engine built like a brick pooh house tbh , they're a little raspy as its a 3 cylinder great for putling about , good economy mpg easy to service yourself, you should be able to get a good one cheap if you want a great car for peanuts go get one

I'd compare the 1.4 and the 1.9TDi on price and insurance. The 1.9TDi 105PD is a cracking engine. Just depends if the insurance would kill it for you.

Cool stuff, my dad's friend is looking for me at the minute so hopefully he will get me a price! Any idea what comes with them standard? Don't think insurance should be too bad, got quoted 490 for a 2 litre tdi Leon the other wee, so I'm happy with paying something like that.

Personally I would go for mk1 fabia

Fabia 3/ Elegance comes with heated front seats and wing mirrors, Xenon headlights and Maxidot computer. Usually a nicer looking interior than a 1 or 2 (S and SE)
