Sealant help

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I've been using carlak sealent for a few years it's nearly time to replace it as it running low .

I use collinite wax and was wondering what other sealant u folks would recommend just for a change

Cheers whoosh

Phew...Where to start...LOL

There are so many

Best thing I can suggest apart from the odd recommendation you may get is to have a look at what's available from several Detailing Supplers on't internet

I recommend (Due to ease of application):

Wolfs Nano Nano Salant (Hard Body)

Optimum Optiseal

Autobrite Hellshine Abyss

Poorboys EX-P

FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant

I've only used fk1kp from Chris' lost above but that's the same as the collinite you already have!

Zaino or Jeffs Werkstat would be my recommendations :)

Happy sealing

Fk 1000P is a sealer Chris...Collinite is a wax

I've recently purchased some optiseal that Chris mentioned above and been very impressed with it. Really easy to apply, just spray on a very small amount and use a pad to cover the whole panel, and that's it. No buffing etc.

I'm no expert but would certainly recommend it.

Is Jetseal 109 a sealant or wax or can u wax over it

Cheers whoosh

Jetseal is a sealent. Yes

You can wax over sealant but should not seal over wax

Think you'll find they are both hybrids Chris ;)

Thought Jetseal was a sealer

We live and learn

All products listed are either sealants or hybrids.

Then look on here or DW (as well as ebay) for someone selling cheap.

You have anglewax near (ish) maybe contact them for a deal or two?
