Even i hated the idea door protectors but when i saw them i bought two pairs one for my sport and one for black octavia..

Trouble is the bottom part of the door will catch first if knocked against anything.

They look quite discrete. I think I'd want to colour-code them somehow too if I were to fit a pair.

Colour coding is a good idea..l

The problem I've always had with these type of protectors is that dirt always gets behind them and scratches the paintwork when you take them off to clean.

I'm thinking about getting a set of door protectors from the Up! Black and White. They are available in either a chrome or black finish I believe.

Not actually seen one to look at first yet though.

Personally I use door defenders... you might feel like an idiot putting them on when you get out of the car, but dent free for the last few years now...

Sorry marky

Not for me Im afraid

They look horrendous, although I can appreciate its more function over form

Well they're only on when you're parked, so you don't have to look at them (unless of course you stand there for an age admiring your car from afar!)... it's only other people that get subjected to it!
