Yorkshire Big Breakfast Spring 2014 - Easter Sunday 20th April

Featured Replies

It's nearly time for Specialist Cars of Malton to host another of their Big Breakfasts

There are usually quite a few Brisky members there, and there's always plenty of interesting cars to see (and hear).

"Yorkshire Big Breakfast - Easter Sunday 20th April 2014

It is that time of year again, the first big run out of the year, the Yorkshire Big Breakfast at Specialist Cars of Malton.

Easter Sunday, 20th April 2014, will see thousands of drivers meet at Malton from 8.30am for a bacon sandwich and a chance to look at some of the finest metal in the North of England.

Now in its 7th year the Yorkshire Big Breakfast has grown to become one of the North's premier multi-marque car events with every kind of sports and classic car in attendance. We've had over 3000 people attend the last events and this promises to be even bigger.

As always everyone is welcome, no matter what you drive (or ride, motorbikes are of course welcome), please pass this invite on to your car clubs, owners clubs, friends and colleagues, it is the mix of makes and models that makes this event so exciting.

As you can imagine due to the scale of the Big Breakfast we have a hefty police presence to ensure the event remains a fun, safe and enjoyable family day out. We hope everyone will help us to keep the continued running of the Yorkshire Big Breakfast viable by driving sensibly and enjoying themselves responsibly.

We're working closely with North Yorkshire Police and implementing a professionally managed traffic management plan so please follow the directions of our marshals. Once again the one way system will be in place, entering at the Malton side of the business park and leaving at the A64 side.

See you then!

  • I didn't take many photos this time. Got fed up carrying the DSLR and just used the phone for the odd few during the rest of the morning:   This XR2 looked like it had just driven out of the factory

I've put it on Scunny Skuds facebook page so we might have a little convoy from Scunthorpe or Doncaster

Will definitely be attending this since it's not far for me to go at all.

Give me a shout if you're attending Darren.

We'll be leaving Wetherby at 7 and joining the A64 at the Copmanthorpe/Askham Bryan junction. The idea is to get there a bit earlier to watch more of the cars coming in.

We'll have to keep our eyes peeled for the mobile plod vans. Wouldn't mind, but they had them in horrid and sneaky places last time.

Two camera vans on the dual carriageway monitoring north and south traffic 6 miles from Malton.

Another near the venue!

You mean places where people will be speeding  :)

It's absolutely heaving here and the busiest I've seen it. Some really good cars including a full on General Lee with Hazard County plates!

Pictures will be required in due course  :)
