Very cheap forge induction kit for sale on eBay, bargain for somebody

Featured Replies

As above I've found a very cheap forge induction kit for the seat bocanegra which looks like it'll fit the fabia vrs item number 281278974368

The item as nothing to do with me, bargain for somebody.

everyone loves a bargain.

This should be fine on a stock car.

Not the best for anyone looking at a remap down the line.

What's the situation with the filter, does it use the stock one or is there a new one with the forge kit?

Is it cleanable or can you replace the filter part?

Also any idea on what kind of power increase return might be seen?

Thanks

I think 10hp has been quoted. The filter is inside of the enclosed housing.

It would require you to remove oem airbox 5 mins and then attach silicon pipe and then airbox, do up clamps attach breather and your done. I would say half hour for your 1st go.

By fitting it you should be able to hear supercharger slightly more, more sucking noise and if forge bov louder dump valve noise. Unsure if it's louder on standard bov

There is a slight difference in the Seat kit, the piece that connects to the slam panel has a different end piece, the holes to secure it aren't in the same place , I know this as I tried it on my vrs before I got the correct one :).

Saves someone buying it and then having to buy the fabia version

Just had a quick look (who wouldn't want more power in a Monte?) - the ad says the flexible pipe was cut in removal, £28.80 for a new one from Forge (presumably for the SEAT part).  Is that the same part Sean mentions as being different?

It's at £40 right now - so £70 all in so far is beeter than half price...

Is this not for a vRS? Does the Monte have the right piping for this? I doubt it.

Anything can happen with a roll of gaffer tape (or duct tape)...

Air ducting can be had cheap, wouldn't pay forge nearly 30 quid for a tumble dryer hose.

The air duct that attaches to front might be slightly different but if that's the case then get the air feed from behind the drl/fog
